I'm Looking At You!

Boo! Bailey took this for me today. I needed a picture of my eye before and after a mascara trial. We did that with one made up eye and one not made up eye. I kept blinking, so this is me opening wide. Scary, a little. If you want to see it, the post is here. I think that the mascara is very effective, by the way.

My eyes are different colors. I hadn't noticed that until the photo today. I guess it's similar to the way the two sides of your face don't line up. Well, except for Amber Valletta - her face is almost completely symetrical.

Tomorrow, my girlfriends and I are going to see Twilight. I am very excited! I read the book this Summer - my sister had it shipped to me, she loved it so much, and apparently me, too ;D. I'm rereading it now, in time for the movie. I'm also reading the memoir of Paula Deen. She is a much spicier lady than I thought.

Wow, Bay and I just had a very loud exchange. She brought out this huge (HUGE) basket of dirty clothes. I told the girls that they are now in charge of their own laundry and I think she's rewashing instead of folding clean c........ she just knocked over the cofffee pot. Gotta go.

Funny. My eyes are a mix of colors also, and just today I went out and bought new eye liner, brow stuff, and mascara. It took me forever, because I was trying to figure out if I should go with black or brown...dark brown hair with brown/green eyes. Also, I cannot wait to see Twilight! Unfortunately, I don't live near anyone I know, and I don't think any of my few friends read the book...so I'll either be seeing it by myself or waiting til video. I'm on Eclipse right now...

Your friend took a good picture of your eye. It's not so easy.
(My eyes too are different colors but in the same eye : First pupil, then a green circle, then it changes, it becomes brown. Just like leaves in autumn. Except for the red-side : )
Twilight. My daughter read it, She gave me the 4 volumes. The 2 first were very quickly read, but I don't manage to read the 3rd one. It seems so lonnnggg. Hope I will arrive to the end of the 4 before the release of the movie in France. My daughter is so impatiente. She read it twice, just like you.

Diane, I've only read the first two. I'm so excited about the movie - I bought the tickets early, was afraid that they'd sell out! If you lived near us, we'd take you along. I've seen movies by myself, but it's so much more fun to say, "Whoa! Did you see that?!" to the person sitting next to you.

I've used brown/black mascara, too. I usually go for black - my hair is brown/brown-red(grey ;D).

I bet since it's a new product, there are some coupons floating around - check your Sunday paper - and you can switch off between this one and your new one.

With the mixed color eyes - do you call them hazel? I call mine hazel, but Mom, who has the same color still calls hers brown.

Catherine, it's interesting to look at an eye close, the color variations are all unique. My daughter is the one who took the photo. I woke her up, said, hey take my photo, then she went back to sleep. Later I said, hey thanks!, and she said, what? She did not remember taking the photo. Ha!

I found the first book went fastest. I like the other kid, her friend from the reservation. The boy who plays Edward in the movie is adorable!

BTW Michelle, I forgot to mention that you have really nice eyebrows! Don't laugh - mine are awful...one is filled in more than the other and they are shaped all funky lol. Did you enjoy the movie? My 8yo said she'd go with me while we're in Paradise...is there any sexual stuff she shouldn't see? ;)

Oh, we're coming to town later this afternoon...then I need to go to Kmart in P-town to look for outfits for the girls..otherwise I'll need to shop in Chico.

Yeah, I call my eyes hazel - they are dark green around the center of my pupil, then branch out with sparkles to a copper brown on the outer...then really just look like brown eyes unless you look really close, but when I get color-enhancing contacts -- it really brings out the green in them! I love my eyes that color. :)

Okay, I just realized this was so long I should have just shot you an email, but well, now I don't need to LOL. See you soon!

I just checked out your post on Loreal Double Extend. Girl, I have got to get me somma that. Thanks for the tip!

I never heard of the Twilight books until just recently, and haven't read any of them yet. I'll have to pick up the first one and see what all the fuss is about.

The movie was good. I liked it a lot, but did not love it, as I did love the books. I think that it's scary in some parts, for an 8 year-old, but that it's not sexual. There's a little kissing, that's it. I'm taking my 10 year-old to see it tomorrow.

I can help you with your brows, if you want. There's a trick to lining them up right. Also, I use a blonde eyebrow powder to fill them in. Thank you for the compliment. :D

My Maracas - it works really well and it lasts. I wore it over 13 hours yesterday and it looked fresh all day. It's different from other mascaras that I've used. Not sticky, just sort of builds this stuff - the tubes - on the end of your lashes.

I can relate to the re-washing instead of folding! I had one that would do that too! I enjoyed a visit through your past posts. I loved the photos of your children especially with the Christmas ornaments!

Thanks for your recent visit and waiting for my long delay in dropping in. My power has been out for a while and then we had to go into the city for a few days. I am finally having a little time to catch up!

I would love help with my eyebrows! Unfortunately, I already kinda messed them up lol, so will probably need to wait until they grow so more...ugh. You can always take a look when we meet up LOL. Sorry to hear the movie wasn't great -- I kind of had a feeling. Movies are never as good as the books...

saw the movie last night, it was cute and something to make me want to watch more. Now it wasn't anything like Interview with the Vampire, but I must say Edward is nice on the eyes.

Edward was very cute. It was a very different vampire story from the Interview With the Vampire. It's more a coming of age, teen love story, type.

I didn't love it the first time, but I saw it again today and I liked it better this time, because I was ready for the changes. I took Sarah this time. She loved it.

Kahshe Cottager, the photos are of my niece and nephews. I took their family portraits. It was a lot of fun.
